A table is the dearest of the three. Last New Year’s Eve (31 December 2025) the typical Downtown offer started at AED 2,000 per person, across the 27 offers we counted. That was the highest of any area in our cost guide. The prices Downtown venues have published for this season are in our New Year’s Eve dinner price list.

If you book a table in Downtown
Emaar itself said not every Downtown restaurant has a direct view of the Burj Khalifa show. Ask what you see from your own table, and get it in writing.
Last New Year’s Eve restaurant guests needed a badge to pass the checkpoints. It had to be collected by 30 December, and none were handed out on 31 December. The restaurant gave the instructions after the booking.
The Dubai Mall waterfront promenade was for diners with a booking and a badge or wristband only. It was not a free viewing spot.
Several Downtown hotels sell a gala dinner that night, including Palace Downtown and Address Dubai Mall. Compare them on our New Year’s Eve gala dinners page.
Emaar has not published its programme or put tickets on sale for 31 December 2026 yet. We update this page the day it does.
Tables with a Burj Khalifa view
Three Downtown venues quote a fireworks view for 31 December 2026 on their own pages so far. Salvaje promises “a direct view” of the Burj Khalifa fireworks, from AED 1,500 minimum spend per guest (Bar Seats, against the à la carte menu). MYA in The Dubai Mall promises “front-row views”, from AED 2,000 per person (seating packages). CÉ LA VI Dubai, on level 54 of Address Sky View, also promises “front-row views”, at AED 5,000 minimum spend per person (redeemable against the à la carte menu).

If you stay in a Downtown hotel
Emaar told hotel and restaurant guests to arrive before the road closures, which could begin as early as 4pm. A hotel guest’s badge was valid for their own hotel only, and a badge did not let a car through once the roads were closed.

Burj Park was the ticketed area last New Year’s Eve, at AED 997.50 per adult. Emaar’s ten public viewing areas were free, first come, first served. Both are on our Emaar NYE 2027 page.

Does the parking close in Downtown Dubai on New Year’s Eve?
Last season about 20,000 parking spaces were announced around Burj Khalifa, with overflow parking at Al Wasl Club and Al Kifaf. Emaar said cars could leave Dubai Mall parking between 1am and 2am, depending on the authorities.
