Find me a JBR tableJBR is the beach night of New Year’s Eve in Dubai: restaurants on The Walk and The Beach, with the fireworks over the water at Bluewaters. RTA called it the second most popular New Year’s Eve destination in Dubai.
Last New Year’s Eve (31 December 2025) the typical JBR offer started at AED 1,600 per person, across the 15 offers we counted in our cost guide. Watching from the promenade or the beach was free, Gulf News reported.

On the day an RTA official told Khaleej Times that access would tighten in stages, with full closures expected around 11pm. Gulf News’s live blog logged traffic at JBR suspended at about 10:38pm.
This season’s programme for Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR is not announced yet. We update this page when it is.
No official plan for 31 December 2026 is out yet: no road closures, metro hours, beach rules or list of fireworks locations. Last season the plan came on 26 December 2025. We update this page the day it is out.

A New Year’s Eve gala dinner is the other way to book. The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has published one on its La Brise lawn.
Ask how the venue wants you to arrive once cars are barred, and by what time.
Ask what you see from your own table. A booking does not include the beach unless the venue says so.
The official plan reserved Dubai’s public beaches for families on New Year’s Eve. Whether the JBR beach itself was covered is not settled: the list of four named beaches does not include it.
Last season 37 help tents at the celebration sites looked after lost children. Agree a meeting point before you set off.
