Any layer labeled previous NYE refers to 31 December 2025 into 1 January 2026. It is planning context, not a live closure feed or the confirmed road plan for 31 December 2026.

What the previous plan tells you

The official 26 December 2025 briefing described phased restrictions and substantial crowd-management measures. This establishes why arrival needs planning, not a promise that each road will close at the same time in 2026.

For a restaurant or hotel booking

Get the permitted approach, exact entrance and last arrival time from the venue. Ask about any current guest pass or badge. A reservation does not automatically let a vehicle pass a closure.

Choose a route you can actually complete

Use current RTA and event instructions, including any approved parking or pickup areas. Plan the final walk and accessibility needs. Do not assume every mall car park allows overnight park-and-ride or that a road reopens immediately after midnight.
