The prices we can source are RTA’s. For last New Year’s Eve (31 December 2025) it sold fireworks trips on the Dubai Ferry at AED 350 in Silver Class and AED 525 in Gold Class.

A private dinner cruise is a different product, with its own price, menu and route. Ask the operator for all three.
The sea can change the night
Last New Year’s Eve the forecast called the Arabian Gulf rough to very rough and a bad night for boat trips or offshore events, Gulf News reported. Late that evening the weather centre warned of 40 km/h winds and waves up to 6 feet until 8am, according to Khaleej Times.
Ask the operator what happens if the sea is rough: a refund, another date, or a sailing that stays in sheltered water?
What to ask before you pay
Where exactly do I board, and when does boarding close? Is my seat indoors or on deck, and can everyone reach the open deck at midnight? Which fireworks does the boat aim for?
Ask for the company name, the name of the boat and the terms in writing.
Then plan the way home. Under last season’s plan only taxis were allowed on JBR’s main road, and ride-hailing cars were barred from it between 11pm and 1am.

How much is a New Year’s Eve boat trip in Dubai?
For 31 December 2025 RTA’s Dubai Ferry fireworks trips cost AED 350 in Silver Class and AED 525 in Gold Class, an abra seat AED 150 and a water taxi for 20 people AED 3,750. Private dinner cruises set their own prices. RTA has not announced New Year’s Eve boat trips for 31 December 2026 yet. Last season it announced them on 26 November 2025.
Can you see the fireworks from a dinner cruise?
It depends on where the boat is at midnight. Ask the operator which show the sailing aims for and what can change its route, and get the answer in writing.
Is a dinner cruise the same as a yacht charter?
No. A dinner cruise sells seats on a scheduled sailing. A charter books a whole boat for your group. See our yacht parties page.
