RTA’s announced plan was to restrict access to Bluewaters temporarily once it reached full capacity, depending on traffic. Gulf News reported that access would be monitored and blocked with roadblocks when the island was full. No report says whether that happened on the night.
JBR, on the mainland side, was closed to private cars from 4pm under the same plan. RTA’s Dubai Ferry fireworks trips also left from the Bluewaters marine station, between 10pm and 10:30pm.
This season’s programme for Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR is not announced yet. We update this page when it is.
No official plan for 31 December 2026 is out yet: no road closures, metro hours, beach rules or list of fireworks locations. Last season the plan came on 26 December 2025. We update this page the day it is out.
Ain Dubai sold New Year’s Eve tickets for 31 December 2025. Its own offer page showed a shared View cabin from AED 395 per adult and AED 315 per child aged 3 and over, and a Premium cabin at AED 695, and was marked sold out.
A cabin ticket is not a restaurant booking. Ask for each one separately.
Ask which way the table faces, whether you move for midnight and by what time you must be on the island.
Our cost guide has no separate figure for Bluewaters. Next door at JBR the typical offer started at AED 1,600 per person last season.
