One charter company has published its New Year’s Eve price, and it prices the whole yacht, not each guest: see the open listing below. The only other sourced figure we hold is RTA’s: last New Year’s Eve (31 December 2025) its water taxi for 20 people cost AED 3,750 for a fireworks trip.

Private charter: price the boat
Ask for the name of the boat, how many guests it may carry and what the quote covers: crew, fuel, food, drinks and extra hours. Then divide by your real group size.
Ask whether the boat in the photos is the boat you are booking.
Shared party: price the ticket
Ask for the age limit, whether food is served, whether you have a seat and when boarding closes.
The sea on the night
Last New Year’s Eve the forecast called the Arabian Gulf rough to very rough and a bad night for boat trips or offshore events, Gulf News reported. Late that evening the weather centre warned of 40 km/h winds and waves up to 6 feet until 8am, according to Khaleej Times.
Ask what the operator does in rough weather, and get the refund terms in writing before you pay.
Getting to the berth and home again
Ask for the exact berth and plan the last stretch on foot. Under RTA’s plan for 31 December 2025, JBR was closed to private cars from 4pm.
The Dubai Tram was timetabled to run from 6am on 31 December 2025 to 1am on 2 January 2026. No official plan for 31 December 2026 is out yet: no road closures, metro hours, beach rules or list of fireworks locations. Last season the plan came on 26 December 2025. We update this page the day it is out.

Should I compare yacht prices per person or per boat?
Per boat for a private charter, per ticket for a shared party. Divide a charter quote by your real group size only after you know what it includes.
Can a yacht see every fireworks show in Dubai?
No. For 31 December 2025 Dubai announced 48 fireworks shows at 40 locations, spread across the city. Ask the operator which show the sailing aims for and what can change its route.
What happens to a yacht party if the sea is rough?
Ask the operator before you pay. Last New Year’s Eve the forecast warned of rough seas and called it a bad night for boat trips, Gulf News reported. Get the bad-weather terms in writing.
