Find me a beach partyA beach club, a beachfront restaurant and a public beach are three different New Year’s Eves in Dubai. A beach club sells a ticket or a table. A public beach is free, but last New Year’s Eve (31 December 2025) the public beaches were for families only.
It is warm enough to be outside. Midnight has averaged about 22°C at the airport on the last ten New Year’s Eves, and the sea off this coast was about 23°C on 31 December 2025.

The official plan reserved Dubai’s public beaches for families on New Year’s Eve. Dubai Municipality then named four, as reported by Gulf News and Khaleej Times: Jumeirah Beach 2, Jumeirah Beach 3, Umm Suqeim Beach 1 and Umm Suqeim Beach. According to Gulf News the rule ran from 3pm on 31 December 2025 to 6pm on 1 January 2026.
What counts as a family was not stated, and no report says a beach off that list was open to everyone. A private beach club sets its own door rules.
No official plan for 31 December 2026 is out yet: no road closures, metro hours, beach rules or list of fireworks locations. Last season the plan came on 26 December 2025. We update this page the day it is out.
Gulf News called the festival fireworks at Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR free to watch, and said they could be seen from the promenade, the beach and nearby restaurants. They were listed for 11:59pm.
Under RTA’s plan, JBR was closed to private cars and open only to pedestrians from 4pm. Our JBR and Bluewaters fireworks page has the car rules.
Last New Year’s Eve it was 20°C at midnight, and the forecast, as reported by Gulf News, warned of north-westerly winds of 15 to 30 km/h, gusting to 50 km/h. On 31 December 2026 the sun sets at 5:40pm.
Bring a layer and shoes for sand.
Is it a standing ticket or a table? Is the beach itself included? What do I see at midnight, and from where? Are children allowed?
The beach prices published so far for this New Year’s Eve are in our party price list, beside the clubs and rooftops.
