Announced for 31 December 2026
Atlantis, The Palm holds its Under The Stars Gala Dinner on Thursday 31 December 2026. Katy Perry headlines, and Atlantis’s own page announces a midnight fireworks show across Atlantis Dubai and the Palm. Gulf News, The National and Khaleej Times reported the gala on 24 September 2026.
Seats start at AED 8,500 per person (Premium Seating, ages 14 and above), as announced by the venue, and every ticket includes Champagne on arrival, the buffet and the live entertainment. The press reports a 6pm start and the ticket page shows doors at 7pm, so check the time with Atlantis. Prices by seat are on our Atlantis page.

These are the announcements most plans wait for. Where we know it, each comes with the day it came out last season, so you know when to look again.
Burj Khalifa: Emaar’s Burj Park release came out on 2 November 2023, 14 October 2024 and 24 November 2025, so between mid-October and late November three seasons running. Last season the tickets were on sale by 24 November 2025. Our Emaar NYE page has last season’s free areas and prices.
No official plan for 31 December 2026 is out yet: no road closures, metro hours, beach rules or list of fireworks locations. Last season the plan came on 26 December 2025. We update this page the day it is out. Last season’s plan, from Dubai’s Event Security Committee, named the fireworks locations, the road closures and the metro hours.
Global Village has not announced its New Year’s Eve programme for 31 December 2026 yet. Last season its seven countdown times came in a release dated 15 December 2025. Its season runs from 14 October 2026 to May 2027, so it is open on the night: see Global Village’s countdowns.
This season’s programme for Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR is not announced yet. We update this page when it is. Last season Gulf News printed the festival fireworks schedule, with Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR at 11:59pm, on 4 December 2025.
No fireworks have been announced for the Burj Al Arab on 31 December 2026 yet. We update this page when that changes. The hotel is closed for restoration, Gulf News and Khaleej Times report.
RTA has not announced New Year’s Eve boat trips for 31 December 2026 yet. Last season it announced them on 26 November 2025.
Last New Year’s Eve, for reference
For 31 December 2025, Dubai’s Event Security Committee announced 48 fireworks shows at 40 locations, the Dubai Media Office said on 26 December 2025. These are the places we could source a time or a rule for.

Getting there and home
Under last season’s plan, road closures around Burj Khalifa began at 4pm and widened in steps until 11pm, and the metro was timetabled to run without a break from 5am on 31 December 2025 to 11:59pm on 1 January 2026.
