Ain Dubai and JBR fireworks on New Year's Eve

Ain Dubai and JBR fireworks on New Year's Eve

What happens at midnight

Shells burst over open water beside the world's largest observation wheel, and the whole beach is your grandstand. The reflections double the show, and the sea breeze keeps the smoke moving instead of hanging.

Where do you watch from?

JBR Beach and The Beach opposite Bluewaters are free and face the show directly. Bluewaters Island itself gets the closest view; its restaurants book out early and the island pedestrianises on the night.

Why families pick this show

Space on the sand, food and facilities directly behind you on The Walk, and an exit that does not involve a crowd crush. Arrive between 8 and 10pm and the night stays easy.

Where are the JBR fireworks on New Year's Eve?
Beside Ain Dubai on Bluewaters Island, fired over the water at midnight. JBR Beach directly opposite is the classic free viewing spot.
What time should I get to JBR on NYE?
Between 8 and 10pm for good beach space. Parking fills earlier; the tram and a walk beat driving after 9pm.
