Choose the destination before the transport

Start with an exact venue entrance, boat berth or permitted public viewing point. Then plan the arrival deadline, the final walking stretch and the return journey as three separate parts.

Metro, tram and Monorail are different services

Use RTA for Metro and Tram announcements and the Palm Monorail operator for its own hours. Check event-night schedules and station access; ordinary timetables and last season’s extended hours are not current guarantees.

Driving, parking and taxis

Ask your venue for the permitted route and parking conditions. Check the current fare estimate and pickup arrangement for a taxi or ride service. Leave a buffer for queues and do not rely on an immediate car after the countdown.

Walking and accessibility

Check the full pedestrian route for distance, steps and controlled entrances. A fifteen-minute walk is not a workable assumption for every visitor. Confirm accessible access with the venue when required and keep your group’s meeting point clear.

Avoid the late transfer trap

A dinner far from the desired show can turn the end of the night into a rushed transfer. Prefer staying in one area or make the viewing location the main plan. Have a fallback if access changes.
