Fireworks arc off the sail over open sea. It is the most photogenic head-on view in Dubai and the calmest of the big shows to reach, which makes it the connoisseur's pick.
Where do you watch from?
Kite Beach and Sunset Beach face the sail directly and cost nothing. Bring a blanket and something warm; parking fills by 10pm, so arrive early or get dropped off.
Make a night of it
Jumeirah's restaurants sit minutes from both beaches, with dinner from AED 250. Eat first, walk to the sand for midnight.
