1 January 2027 is a Friday and a public holiday in the UAE. Khaleej Times expects a three-day weekend, with Monday 4 January the first working day.
Each restaurant sets its own hours for the day. Ask for the kitchen hours, not only the opening time, before you plan a late breakfast.

This guide is for Friday 1 January 2027. An offer for the evening of 31 December 2026 does not cover lunch or dinner the next day unless the venue says so.
Ask your restaurant for its opening time on 1 January, its kitchen hours and its last seating. Ordinary opening hours do not tell you what happens on a holiday morning.
